There is no denying that women play an important role in society. Many people think women should take notice of developing personal careers. However, there are many controversial opinions that their role is staying at home and child-rearing. From my perspective, working allows the female to enhance their individual values.
Being able to work to improve knowledge and skills is surely what women all over the world want. When they pursue their career, they can prove their strength, learn how to solve problems, manage time, balance between lives and work… Moreover, working helps women assert their values, rights, and voice. Nowadays, not only is the number of females in education, fashion, and cosmetics.. rising, but they also participate in some fields with more males such as technology, space, transportation… Female’s appearance in new fields shows that they aren’t worse than men in knowledge and experience, and can even hold important positions. Women are getting stronger and it is predicted that they can “outperform” men in the future.
On the other hand, many people believe that women’s role in each family is being a good mom and wife. So they should spend time taking care of family, manage housework…. Furthermore, it is supposed that women are more suitable for child-rearing than men because their characteristic personalities are light and careful. Becoming a homemaker and not having to work is the choice of many women around the world. They accept to step back to look after family so that their husbands can focus on their work. Just staying at home and not having their own career sometimes causeS females to suffer from some psychological diseases, they have no voice in the family and gradually lose their own values.
Weighing up both sides of the argument, we can see the big role of women in both family and society. I think they shouldn’t only stay at home, they should have professions to show all abilities they have. Women are more and more modern and talented, they know how to complete the job in the best way and care for their families in the most thoughtful way
