There is an opinion that states that it is better for children to grow up apart from large cities. One of the pros is being raised in villages makes you fitter. However, this might lead to bad intellectual development at the same time. I tend to think that harm outweighs the advantages,so it would be preferable for kids to spend their childhood in urban areas.
Usually, the quality of health is higher for young individuals in the countryside. This is because the environment is very polluted in cities, which is the main origin of many diseases. In contrast, conditions in suburbs are much cleaner due to closeness to nature, providing safe options. As an example, local natural products are more available,so children’s diet will lack unhealthy meals. Therefore,it may have a great influence on their physical development by avoiding illness.
Although it might seem fine for body growth there are noticeable problems in the sphere of knowledge. Generally many countryside regions witness a poor level of education, lacking proper schools and colleges. This creates a certain limit for kids’ further intellectual rise. Children who have special interests can’t fulfill their own curiosity because of less opportunities to study apart from school curriculum. For instance, lack of tutors who could help them with their studies leads to good ideas and minds dying out. As a result,an overall education degree wouldn’t contribute to standards for years.
In conclusion, even if the environment corresponds to minors’ well-being, the huge issue of the studying process is critical. In my opinion, this challenge overbalances all benefits.
