Some people believe that having a fixed work schedule is better for people than having a flexible one. Even though there is some truth in the former notion, I mostly agree with the latter.
On the one hand, there are many advantages to having fixed work hours for personnel, such as the fact that they plan their other tasks according to that table. Planning other stuff according to a fixed table is good, especially when having a feast in the house of some relative or organizing it in your own home, because before going or organizing it, you follow your strict timetable, which helps you to be more metaculous and organize your daily routine. For example, I used to have one friend when I was studying at my university, and he did not use to plan his daily routine until he became a worker for one company that had a fixed timetable for working one week ago. Now he always looks at his watch and plans his daily activities.
In addition to this, there are many drawbacks to having a fixed working schedule, such as the fact that you are not able to freely organize your activities at any time of your day, except for the leisure time you get when you finish your work schedule, and this brings many inconvenient events towards you, such as being unable to go to parks when your child asks to go there. Most personnel who work full-time in daylight suffer most from this kind of situation. Take the example of some teachers who teach at the university from down to dusk, they do not have time for their children during the day to fulfill their needs. In my opinion, this hurts any parent more than a sharp blade.
On the other hand, having a flexible work schedule brings many advantages and all the positive sides of having a fixed one to the workers. If an employee has the right to organize his or her working time, they have the privilege to stroll in the park with their beloved children, and this gives enormous happiness to parents, especially to those who work a lot and in many jobs. In my opinion, having a job that has a flexible working schedule is better and superior to one that has a fixed one due to many advantages and conveniences.
In conclusion, there are two different opinions about work schedules: one says that the availability of fixed work schedules in occupations is better for people, and the other says that the absence of them and having flexible ones are better. Albeit there are some advantages to having a fixed work schedule, such as inducing people to be more metaculous, I believe that having a flexible one is better due to its versatility in time management.
