People argue whether self-employment is better than working in a company or not. While a schedule management becomes easier with working for yourself and problems with receiving a salary partially disappear, it can also come at the cost of degradation of workers’ soft-skills or even losing a bunch of workplaces in big corporations.
On the one hand, most specialists prefer working at home without outside noises, annoyances, or a toxic corporate environment. Freelancing becomes a fine option for students, who are interested in self-development and running a business with no fear of being bullied at a job. Youngsters may use this opportunity to successfully carve a niche for themselves. Furthermore, workers do not have to struggle with long-term receiving their salaries due to the wide gap with their chefs anymore. Since they do not have to run someone’s errands, they may concentrate on running their start-ups and forget about delayed paychecks, working on themselves.
On the other hand, there are some drawbacks to isolating from the whole work environment. In contemporary society, green businessmen face low soft-skill issues, when they whether do not have enough acquaintances at the beginning, to maintain business projects, or find it difficult to start a conversation with new financiers. As a result, these people burn out as fast as they realize the absence of their possibilities. Likewise, many corporations start losing their employees, who have worked for years and leave their workplaces at the end. With the workforce reduction, big companies also miss the time and money to produce new useful technologies that may positively influence humanity, and as a result, they are tend to pause their productions or even close down.
In conclusion, although launching a business measures and creating fine conditions for workers, where they could feel comfortable to start a project and receive a salary in time, there are still a lot of disadvantages, such as unimprovement of networking and negative consequences of sharp staff reduction in big companies.
