Nowadays, there are so many essential factors that have an impact on a child’s development. Some people argue that family has the most important effect on shaping the child’s life. While others support that there are various external factors that shape the child’s improvement such as media, pop culture and friends. I believe that external factors have a major impact on a child’s development.

On the one hand, family is the main character of a child’s life. When children are born, the first thing that they see is their family. Because of this the behavior of a family is very important for the children’s life. Firstly, the major part of the characteristic features of a child is ensured by families. For example, if a child grows up in a very loud family due to the discussion or fight within the family, this child would behave like what he saw within his family to their peers. Secondly, families play the most significant role for teaching or showing the right paths. For instance, families have a very large effect on the child’s decision for their educational life and they show the right paths for their child’s goals.

On the other hand, there are various external factors that affect the child’s development. The world continues to develop day by day thanks to new technologies. These days, everyone has one of the technological devices and everyone is affected negatively or positively due to this development. Firstly, this generation has an addiction to technology because of this they are very affected. For example, there is always a new trend in social media and because of these trends, children feel like they need to adapt to these trends. Secondly, after the parents, children’s development is shaped mostly by their friends. For example, when a child starts a new school, this child meets with so many different students who are the same age as him. Due to this meeting, these different characteristic features that students have, this child’s character can change.

In conclusion, children will always encounter new characters within their lives. Sometimes, these characters will be in their families or it will be in the extern life.
