It is undeniable that in these days people can travel easier. However, some people think that you should not travel abroad to explore the cultures because you can get it from other sources, such as books or films. Despite the fact that this can give a first impression, i tend to disagree more with this statement in light of learning about traditions from local people.
On the one hand, it has been suggested that people learn the culture from books, films and internet due to its impression. In other words, movies and books give people first information about the culture in general and also showing the traditions of this culture, which may encourage them to learn more. In addition, people will know about this cultures more than those who are not interested and also they will be more flexible and not so shocked in the culture that they learn. Case in point, students who study abroad learn the traditions of city where they life before they start their education, which will help they in daily life.
Having said that, i am more inclined to oppose this idea, as this information from local people. It is not a secret that, people who lived their for whole their live know the traditions much better that other, which leads to knowning about the culture deeper. It is a common knowledge that while you travel to this places you will learn much more thanks to native people that may show you some traditions and also the history of city, which will give you background information about the culture. For instance, travelling to other places to learn the culture allow people to learn only about the culture but also architecture and the behavior of individuals living there.
It is said that people can learn the culture from Internet instead of traveling there and getting it from other people. While this can give effect your mind, it can be concluded that i disagree more with this notion because of local people who may teach you.
