Fashion is the topmost priority in this new generation. Both fashion and brands go hand in hand. Trademark on the clothes is status symbol nowadays which are super costly. It is often argued whether buying a large amount of inexpensive clothes are considerably better than having a small number of costly ones. Both of the aspects are going to be discussed below:
Firstly, purchasing lavish clothes is marker of wealth. People buy expensive attires to show-off their money. For example: LOUIS VUITTON, GUCCI and DIOR are some of the high valued brands. These brands put a lot of attention to details and efforts in the making which results in looking super-classy. In addition to this, the quality of the high-priced garments are much better than the other ones. These can help the environment as well by upcycling the clothes because of their long life time.
Alternatively, investment in the low-cost garments has its own advantages. For poor ad middle class folks who can not afford to have the branded clothes can get the similar products in the less amount. For instance: one puffer jacket from Aritzia is worth 400 dollars whereas the similar puffer coat is available in Walmart for 80 bucks. The quality of the product is amazing on the reviews which is no less than the Aritzia one. Moreover, people can have different style options because of the cheap priced stuff they have in the wardrobes.
To sum up this, I strongly agree with the latter point. Having a closet full of cheap-priced attires is far better than purchasing a shelf of expensive clothes. It spares you cash and give a new style everyday.
