In this state-of-the-art society, there is a growing tendency among adolescents to choose their jobs based on their interests. Some people are of the opinion that job satisfaction plays an overriding role for the young generation; however, others resent this statement. From my perspective, I totally agree with this point of view and this essay will elaborate on my standpoint.
On the one hand, those who refuse the crucial position of finding a satisfying occupation may consider salary as the most vital element. For them, it is undeniable that the remarkable escalation of divorce and homeless rates caused by insufficient income indicates the risk and challenge of applying for a job without thinking about the earnings. A prime example of this would be the contemporary artists, who devote a large amount of time and effort to pursue their most favorable career and what is the consequence? Many of them can no longer earn a sustainable wage due to the fact that the masses nowadays do not care much about arts.
Having said that, in spite of the above-named valid evidence, I still believe that job satisfaction should be credited as the most significant factor for young generation. It is readily apparent that in the light of increasing proportion of resignations among the youth, the quality of the workplace environment,the friendliness of colleagues and the interesting level should be prioritized at the forefront. This should be seriously contemplated on account of the truth that the junior workforce does not have much experience to tackle pressure at company.Therefore, they can feel tedious and want to quit their job as soon as they can, especially when it is not their favorite occupation. For instance, if a scientist hates facing those sophisticated problems everyday, they may quit their career.
Weighing up the aforementioned arguments, despite some clear interpretations about the trivial position of job satisfaction, I still consider it as the most important element when applying for a career. It is about time for each individual to become intrepid and confident in order to fulfill their dreams.
