It is obvious that every city or county faced various problems that require deep analysis and immediate solutions. Nowadays, libraries are changing rapidly due to the technology. Some think that libraries should spend more time on digital tools instead of collecting more paper books. This essay will explore both perspectives before offering my own opinion.
At first, technology helps get information faster and easier. Online libraries allow people to read books, journals or even articles at home without going everywhere. For example, some people bought platforms like litres and can find any book to read. At second, digital tools offer more than just reading. People can highlight in there something, note, watch some videos about that book or even listen to audio.
However, paper books are still important for some people. For older generation or some people it is uncomfortable read from the screen and often prefer paper. And paper book better for long reading and reduce eyesight. Printed books are essential for preserving cultural and historical knowledge. For instance, ancient manuscripts or rare literature are often best kept in physical form.
In conclusion, while paper books are still helpful, I believe libraries should focus more on technology. Digital resources are more practical for most users today and can help more people access knowledge.
