It is oftenly argued in contemporary times that linguistic obstacles can induce numerous social and practical problems in foreign countries. In my way of thinking, I strongly advocate of given statement and explain with the examples of Oxford and Harvard Universities survey.
To begin with, students are facing detrimental repercussions in Schengen countries due to linguistic constraints. Also, they are unable to admit in their desire course, just because of the course availability to local students or language restrictions. Furthermore, job market is a paramount for the economic avalanche and sustainability, which is suffering because of language barriers especially in Schengen and some Asian countries. According to statistics provided by the Harvard University, more than 90% of folks have depressed and excavate for management jobs, which is unreachable and unsuccessful in the first interview phase. More than 30% of individuals are learning foreign languages for the part-time and remote jobs as well.
It is a well-known fact, language plays a pivotal role in assimilation and comprehension in social environment. Moreover, it can cause catastrophic impacts on social life such as interaction in market, selling, purchasing, business entrepreneurship, meetings and conferences, and relationship as well. Conversely, many peoples suffer from anxiety, and stress-related issues because of incompetence in academic learning. According to the survey of the Oxford University proves, more than 65% folks are struggling in their social life, and learn languages from different physical and online institutes, which is quite difficult for job-seeker sometimes.
In conclusion, based on the aforementioned, language barrier can cause destructive effects on social and physical life for students and job-seekers. The government needs to provide enough resources for language preparation or find other constructive and productive amenities in their country.
