In recent years, rapid development of Atificial Intelligence leads to different misunderstandings when companies hire employees for work. Some people believe that it makes recruitment unbiased, while others argue about unjust opinions and mechanized applications. This essay will discuss both views and gives my own perspective.
On the one hand, the utilization of Artificial Intelligence can support people’s imagination and foster their creativity to write one-of-a-kind essays. For instance, they can make a brain storm with AI assistance to think of strong sides of their personality and to reach their full potential in resume. Therefore, AI acts as a professional career coach, helping to transfer real life experiences into specific skills in order to match the industry demands.
On the other hand, frequent usage of AI while writing a CV can lead to an increased dependency. Most applications are becoming similar to each other, making job seekers look indistinguishable. For instance, as most resumes are blended together and become formulaic, employers lose their interest due to absence of individuality and creative approach. As a result, it causes social concerns about disinformation and truthfulness of the facts provided in the CV.
From my point of view, AI is a good tool, which can analyze candidate’s past experiences and give a description of their characteristics, such as leadership, responsibility, or flexibility. However, heavily rely on it can erase originality and make the CV as thousands of others, making the chances to get the job less possible.
To conclude, although AI is beneficial in sparking applicants imagination, I strongly believe that it cannot replace the haman sincerity, personal experience, and critical thinking, that remain the essential criteria in successful selection.
