In today’s rapidly changing world, increasing the use of social media is a significant concern for parents worldwide. This issue affects children’s education. This essay will explore the causes of this problem and propose viable solutions to mitigate its effect.
Spending a lot of time on exploring on social medias primarily results from children’s interest in technology. Another significant factor of this issue is the postings of teenager peers in such a platform that attract their attention. Over use of social media leads to several problems, including educational difficulties and mental disorders. The children that spend a considerable amount of time on these digital network platforms often experience a decline in their academic performance and challenges in personal interactions. Also, social platforms contain lot of unnecessary information which could be a distraction for teenagers.
One effective solution is to establish some strict rules against the over use of social networks by families and a fix timetable for their study hours, for example 2 hours a day. By encouraging students to do their academic obligations would prevent them from further exploring in digital platforms. The children who are not allowed to use digital networks more than they need, would dedicate their permitted amount of time wisely on educational purposes. Studies showed that students who interacts with their peers in person are more intelligent compared to others. Through in person interactions, they not only gain valuable experiences but also understand each other’s feelings because emotions cannot be expressed by digital facilities.
In conclusion, addressing overconsumption of social websites are linked with the medias that the platforms showcase them with the least amount of awareness. By implementing these solutions, students can reduce their academic problems and advance their grades.
