Band 8+: Many doctors say that people in today's world do not enough physical exercise. What are the cause of these pressure and what measures are there to this problem?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, many physicians express concerns about public health and believe that people are becoming increasingly inactive. This essay will outline the main causes of this sedentary lifestyle and propose several measures to address it.

There are several reasons why people today do not engage in enough physical exercise. One compelling factor is the high level of competition in modern society, where individuals often spend most of their time working in offices or studying at school. As a result, exhaustion after long days and limited free time make people unwilling to participate in physical activities. Another contributing factor is the rise of digital devices such as smartphones, televisions, and game consoles, which attract far more attention than sports. In particular, children and teenagers, who should be exercising regularly, spend many hours scrolling on their screens.

To solve this problem and encourage regular exercise, one effective measure is promoting a sports culture and educating people about the health benefits of physical activity. For example, schools can establish clubs for soccer, swimming, or volleyball and encourage students to participate. Additionally, the school curriculum should incorporate lessons about the potential consequences of insufficient exercise. In the workplace, companies can install exercise equipment that employees can use during breaks to restore energy and improve work engagement and productivity.

In conclusion, a sedentary lifestyle mainly stems from limited time and the distraction of digital devices. Therefore, raising public awareness of the importance of physical exercise and increasing access to training opportunities are key solutions to this issue.
