Advantage And Disadvantage

Band 5+: many elder people are no longer looked after by their families but are put in care homes or nursing homes. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this trend?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In recent years, families of elderly people have not looked after their parents, but instead, they have booked a place in care or nursing homes. I believe, although there are both negative and positive outcomes, it would be beneficial if they were cared at for in care or nursing homes.houses.

A perk outcome of looking after at home is that staying by the family side is one of the best medicines since mental health is also essential. The warmth of home has a therapeutic effect owing to the fact that it is full of loved ones. Furthermore, getting medical help at home is also a cost-savingmoney saving method. There are lots of places treating families like they come to an agreement with trade companies and that makes everyone think the health center’s priority is their financial gainsgaining more money.

One of the main detrimental outcomes of taking care of an elderly person at home is that enough medical help maycould not be provided enough in houses. In an urgent scenario where of a patient is having an attack, care homes would respond react more professionally than a family member since those places are full of medical staff. Moreover, in nursing homes houses, there will also be lots of people who can empathize with their situation. Additionally, being more social is another merit of care homes due to the similar ages.

In conclusion, it is considered that lately, families do not take care of the elderly their old ones but direct them to nursing or care homes. Even though there are benefits and drawbackspros and cons, my belief is that nursing homes are more beneficialry than family members’ potential caring capability. → 262 words
