Local languages are dying out because of increase foreign languages like English. It has positive developments and negative developmen.This will discuss about the prons and cons.
Nowa days foreign languages are plays a major role in society. Because everyone can easily communicate to others with English. The reason is that it is a common language. There are plenty of different local languages in our country so to learn these local languages are very difficult. Moreover, they cannot understand what they are going to speak. For example ina company their employees are from different places so they donot know each other’s languages but this english is useful to communicate each other and they make good relationship with other people.
On the flip side in this era the importance of local languages is decreased. Especially younger ones they are not found the time to spent their own languages they preferred to pick other foreign languages. It gradually effect our community and our mother tongue. Automatically they adapted a new culture and traditions at the same time they lost it their own culture and traditions. For example now um schools they are promoting to speak English language rather than their own therefore child are getting proficiency in other language so they are not comfortable to use their mother tongue.
To conclude rise of other language may have positive and negative development. It helps to communicate other state peoples and they can easily make good relationship. However gradually reducing the usage of their own languages because they are comfortable to use other foreign languages.
