Nowadays more and more men and women decide to have children later. This tendency happens because they realise that this decision must be made reasonably, so young people work and study hard to be able to support their kids in future. Having children later has a positive effect in society and family because it means that probably parents have already achieved a good financial state, so they are capable to provide better opportunities for their kids.
In order to build a successful career, modern women and men often put off marriage and having a baby. They choose to study at the university or spend a lot of time on their work to get a promotion. As a result, many young people just do not have enough time and energy for dating and building romantic relationships. It also happens because now having a big, traditional family is not as important as it was in the past, that is why women and men are not eager to have children as soon as possible.
In my opinion, having children later positively influence society because it can reduce level of dysfunctional families. Child maintenance usually requires a lot of money on food, healthcare, education, entertainment and so on. If parents decide to have babies at too young age, there is a high risk that they cannot afford to close all children’s needs. However, if two mature people have a good education and stable job with a high salary, they definetely can provide all the best opportunities for a child.
In conclusion, women and men now prefer having children later because they want to create good conditions for it at first by achieving financial prosperity. It has a positive effect in society because children born in a such kind of family get not only love and caring but also balanced food, high-quality education and comprehensive development.
