Most of museum charge for entrance inside the museum while some museum are free. Either methods has advantages and disadvantages, But in my opinion the advantages are more than disadvantages. The biggest advantage of charge for admission in museum it can helps to management staff and antiques of the museum to give the better environment to the visitors. The main disadvantage is everyone can come in museum it can reduce the worth of museum for truly visitors and it also many cause the lack of facilities.
The are a lot of advantages of charge for admission in museum it can increase the museum worth because only serious visitors visit there like researcher or any other antique observers. They can also use the museum name in their research papers or articles that enhance the value of museum. Museum management can improve the environment of museum and also manage the staff salaries and hire the experienced and well-mannered staff that would be take-care of museum in better way. They can purchase different artifacts for museum that can attract the more visitors. It can be enhance the user experience when we spend the entrance admission money in providing services to the visitors. They can offer free refreshment and air condition to visitors, this lavish environment attracts the visitors. I visited a museum that is situated in Taxila Pakistan the museum had the entrance ticket and its cost is 2000/- rupees that was really too much but when I went to the museum I realized the entrance fee was worth it, on different antiques different staff told the real history of the visitors and respond to the visitors queries they served us refreshment in a small cinema hall where a historical movie is played on a big screen that is related to the migration of Pakistan from India in 1947. The environment is really clean and they gave us free little card where the details of some antiques is mentioned with its history. So in a ticket free museum these facilities is hard to provides to the visitors because its hard to manage the resource for providing good services.
With a lot of advantages it has some disadvantages also. If museum management provide free entrance for everyone it might be possible unlimited visitors visit the museum and management need more staff to handles the visitors. it can cause the lack of facilities and undisciplined environment due to these problems true visitors might be not visit the museum even they really want to get information or observe any antique because a peaceful and manage environment really attracts the researchers where they can observe the thing in very deeply and in a undisciplined environment it is bit hard to get good ideas. Moreover things can be spoil due to rushy and low management environment that can really decline the value of the museum. I visited Faisalabad museum once a time there had never admission charge when I went in side the museum there was a crowed of many peoples I saw some piece of map that really looks very old but did not understand what was it I tried to find staff who tell me the actually story regarding that pieces of maps but there was no one to inform me this is due to lack of management when I complained in office they said they don’t have enough money to maintain the staff salaries I suggested them to take some entrance fee and manage the resources.

And the free museums have really worst experience because lack of management and a lot of visitors that can hit the discipline of environment badly. So charge admission fee from the visitors is really good to maintain the value to museums.
