In contemporary society, not only data but also images about the personal life of prominent people are given in various newspapers and journals. From my perspective, intervention to others’ life is disrespectful.
On the one hand, nowadays, sharing information about celebrities and their activities is major job for journalists for several reasons. Firstly, they are public figure and there is a natural public curiosity about their lives. Thus, people frequently search individuals whom they admire. Consequently, it increase sales gaining more money for workers. Secondly, it can be profitable for stars too, as in this way, they are able to achieve more popularity and get more advanced career offers. For instance, most employers propose to work with them as a result of spreading knowledge about their achievements and successful jobs.
On the other hand, I believe that this type unauthorized behaviors can be judged. To explain that, it damages celebrities’ privacy, so, sometimes, their current location, home address, and other private data are reported and in this case, they can be disturbed by fans. Additionally, it has an adverse impact on their relationships. For example, they meet paparazzi in everywhere and every time and it cause stress in relationships, even can lead to conflicts and separations. Furthermore, social media can share unethical and unwanted pictures that affect star’s mental and spiritual health.
In conclusion, though there are positive sides to this information, I think that the negative consequences of invading privacy, harming personal relationships, and affecting mental health are more than benefits.
