Some people believe that the public transportation should be free in big cities as it will be beneficial. Where as , other people says it will leads to many king of disadvantages. The following paragraphs will cover the both benefits and demerits.
To commence with, people of all age groups use the local means of transport. For instance, those people who are earning below the economic rate prefers to walk instead of paying the fare charges because they cannot afford it. In addition , with this measure everyone can go to the major cities in regards to their jobs which will leads to raise their income and upgrading the lifestyle.
On the other hand , if the public transport is free it will cause exploitation of the fossil fuels. Which will further cause global warming. For example, if there is no fare charges there will be no adequate funds for the gas used to run the buses. To increase the fuel supply the government will exploite the fossil fuels which will cause dramantic changes in climate.
In conclusion , big things like removing the cost from public transport have its own advantages and disadvantages. If something is going profit it is also giving lose at the same time.
