It is a widely held view that the level of physical activity among teenagers is decreasing. People also believe that it damages their health. In my view, there are several reasons why this is so, and definitely several relevant solutions.
One of the primary reasons teenagers are not getting enough exercise is the prevalence of sedentary activities in today’s digital age. With the rise of smartphones, social media, and video games, many teenagers spend a significant amount of their time engaged in screen-based activities, leading to a lack of physical movement. Additionally, academic pressures and busy schedules often leave little time for exercise, further exacerbating the issue.
In order to tackle this problem, it is essential to promote the benefits of regular physical activity among teenagers. Schools play a crucial role in this regard by encouraging more physical education classes into the curriculum and providing opportunities for students to participate in sports and other physical activities. Also, schools can organize fitness challenges, sports events, and extracurricular activities to encourage teenagers to be more active.
To sum up, a lack of exercise can lead to serious illnesses, so we cannot delay addressing it. By taking immediate action, it will be possible to change the situation.
