In modern society, more and more adults work more than 8 hours. I will outline the reasons why it is slowly killing people and the consequences.
Firstly, one of the reason cause this is that the salary they get is too low, usually salary per hour so for a better income, they are willing to work 10-12 hours because of their financial burden. Most of them can not afford basic needs like clothes, food or even a stable place to live, it leads to them forcing themselves risking their health to gain as much money as possible.
The reasons above impact human’s health and here are some examples and effects of it. There is 50% chance leads to death because of working more than 8 hours for a long term, most people ignore the unusual signs sent by their health system. Obviously, death is now waiting for them, pushing yourself to work can be one of the factors causing cancer, heart failure, liver failure or anything since spending more than 8 hours to work causes lack of rest and sleep, it makes a thin layer between life and death.
In conclusion, overworking is must be erased, it can destroy human’s body slowly without us knowing. This is a concern to all the people who are working, we should acknowledge about how this might take away your life.
