Through years New Year’s celebration was and still is one of the most significant event in each year. I think everyone would agree on that, in that this celebration represents both the beginning and the end of a long Earth journey. But with time, we can see more and more people that are continuously waiting for this time of year, only to gather more money for themselves, which I genuinely think is kind of sad and repulsive.
New Year is the only event which brings absolutely everyone together, no matter what. Every family has its own unique way of celebrating it, as well as their special traditions, that you can’t nor buy nor sell. It’s a precious privilege to have those kind of things, and everyone should be grateful for those times. From my perspective, those kinds of celebration can’t, and won’t never be commercialized, this is the very reason why almost every person awaits New Year.
But judging from other point of view, there are lots of businesses, who are trying to squeeze out every single penny from common people, making Christmas themed merchandise, that people will only buy because of their excitement about upcoming holidays. They aren’t even trying to hide it, cause they know how it works.
All in all, New Year is really is commercialized nowadays, and many people are getting profit, but still, the can’t buy those customs and traditions that everyone has at their own party.
