Some individuals argue that the increase use of AI daily reduces the skills of creativity and problem-solving. However, others state that it elevates these skills by freeing people from repeated tasks.
The constant reliance on artificial intelligence allows humans to refrain from improving many skills due to the easier task of generating multiple ideas at a time by using these tools. For example, one can create a solution to a problem with a click because of the hassle of spending hours on one problem. However, this act does not help with anything except wasting less time which is not optimal if one wants to improve their skill.
On the other hand, AI does indeed help people mentally by seperating them from their mundane work or school life. The cause of doing repeated acts does much to the human brain as the human brain needs to be constantly challenged to be able to feel “alive”.
In my opinion, artificial intelligence is a great tool if used correctly; if a person uses it to escape hard work that would not be benificial to them, in fact it will only reduce their abilities to do certian chores. But if it was used to work on boring chores it will greatly increase these skills.
In conclusion, the phrase “work smarter, not harder” is not always benificial. However, if used at the right time and place it will surely bring one’s “sow what you reap”.
