A significant proportion of the population supports the idea of offering free public transportation in large urban areas.
A large number of population agrees with the statment of giving free public transport in big cities. I also agree with this idea of transportation because nowadays, transport is a major issue in every city most probably in urban areas. Their is a lot of issues we faced today just because of over use of private transport and it is also very expensive. If free of cost public transport is available in cities there is a lot of benefits of it. There is a lot of environmental benefits and it is also pocket friendly for everyone. A big advantage of free public transport is that,it also help to reduced road or traffic congestion. Now a days many people use private transport and it reduced physical activities if, we use free public transport it will also help to improve physical activities because people walk from their home to bus stations.
Perhaps, their is some disadavantages as well. Public transport is not flexible all the time as compared to private vehciles. We can also face delay and overcrowd during work hour.For example once, i use public transport for traveling from my hometown to university,their is a lot of crowd in bus stop because its work hour and everyone want to go earlier i faced a lot of problem on bus station due to crowd.Other major disadvantage of public transport is that the older and disabled person are not able to use this because of delays and crowd.
If we conclude, all this talk we can say that there are a lot of benefits of free public transport and it should be available in big cities and their is some disadvantages as well but free transport solve many problems in urban areas.
