Most people think that a having constant routine is the key to success, whereas several people believe that flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances are more crucial. In this essay, I will explore both perspectives and provide my personal thoughts.
On one hand, it is obviously evidenced that a fixed routine can lead to a successful life. One good example to support this statement is that a lot of high-earning professions such as physician and engineer generally requires repetitive practices until they can begin their career. I somewhat agree with this statement because it is generally true that practice makes perfect.
On the other hand, sticking with the constant routine without having flexible and adaptable mind will be harmful and dangerous. For instance, if you were an astronaut, you would need these skills because there are many worst-case scenarios that can happen anytime and you need to be able to deal with those without any previous preparation. I also agree to this because it is also important to be able life smart not only textbook smart.
In conclusion, I personally believe that both views are equally important as you might have experienced in my good leaders that they are fully equipped with both rich professional experience and creativity mind.
