The gap between the rich and the poor people and its contribution to happiness of a society has always sparked a debate among people. This essay will discuss two opposing view about whether this gap has a significant role in the happiness of a community or not.
On the one hand, becoming a reach person has always been a high goal for most people, encouraging them to work harder, smarter and more efficient, as these are the key factors to achieving a high salary. Therefore, with reducing the gap of incomes, many people lose their motivation. Eventually, the society and economy will never experience a growth and will remain still. For example, one of my dreams is to become a wealthy person to purachase everything i need. with reducing this gap, i do not need to work harder toward my goal. Therefore, I desperetly lose my life’s meaning.
On the other hand, some people argue that 90% of money is for 10% of people, and money is distributed unblancely. Therefore, while some people have access to high quality products and facilities, there are a lot of poeple that suffer to buy and prepare essential products for their lives. With increasing the salary of wealthy people and incresing that for the poor people, the money will distribute more evenly and society will reach to a certain level of equality and justice.
In conclusion, having a small gap between the wealth of the rich and the poor people leads to a socity that people have no goal or any aspirations. Whereas, making this gap larger make the society unblanced and divided to two distinct groups of people, very rich poeple and indigent ones. Thus, a blanced between these two stances would be a better choice for a society where there is a gap but it’s not very large.
