Nowadays, social networking sites engulf the whole world and are a substantial part of the life of a lot of people. It is widely discussed that the climbing role of using Facebook or other apps has a negative influence not only on society in general but also on each person. I agree that networking sites adversely impact the community and individuals.

Firstly, the Internet is hazardous for people’s security and personal information. This implies that individuals post in Instagram or Facebook their fotos and moments from their life in real time. Consequently, it is possible to collect this information and calculate the address, the phone number or the number of a card. The reason for this is that social networking sites need all significant information about new users by registration. What is more, this data is not completely protected from other people and can be stolen by cheaters. For instance, someone recognized the card number from my friend and consequently used it for purchase in different shops.

Additionally, networking sites are the reason for suffering individuals from cyberbullying. In other words, the Internet is the social platform with the access to comments and reactions, which are not always positive. This point is extremely dangerous for the nervous system of every person, especially for children, who are affected by the views from other users. For example, a lot of young people attempt to accomplish the popularity, the recognition and the respect among peers on the Internet. Children make everyday posts and check for comments, which can be utterly adversarial and as a result influence the young generations. Furthermore, children suffer from envy and foolish opinions of other people and lock themselves from the whole world.

All things considered, social networking sites affect individuals and society adversely because of cyberbullying and stealing of personal information. On the contrary, if the creators provide more security for users and limit the content it is possible to get more benefits from the network.
