Nowadays, there is a disagreement about whether students should study using online materials or traditional printed books. In my opinion, while digital resources are very convenient, printed books still play a vital role in education.
On the one hand, printed materials have several benefits. Firstly, they help students concentrate better. When reading a physical book, students are not distracted by social media notifications or advertisements like they are on a phone or laptop. Secondly, reading from paper is better for the eyes. Studying on a screen for many hours can cause eye strain and headaches. Finally, many people find it easier to remember information when they can physically highlight text or write notes on the pages.
On the other hand, online materials offer great advantages in terms of speed and cost. The internet allows students to access a huge amount of information from all over the world instantly. Instead of buying many expensive textbooks, students can find free articles, videos, and research papers online. Furthermore, digital resources are very portable. A single tablet can store thousands of books, which is much lighter than carrying a heavy backpack full of paper books. This makes studying more flexible as students can learn anywhere.
In my opinion, both types of materials are useful. Online resources are excellent for quick research and keeping up with new information. However, for serious study that requires deep focus, printed books are still the best choice.
In conclusion, although online materials are becoming more popular because of their convenience and low cost, I believe that printed materials are still necessary for effective learning. Students should use a mix of both to get the best results.
