It is becoming far more normal for individuals to spend a significant amount of time on a smartphone. The common reason for this trend is that people tend to use their phones after work or school. It is because they have a desire to find fulfillment by either watching videos or playing online games.
There are likely to be a number of reasons for this trend internationally. Firstly, it might be a result of easy access to the internet and phones. Even though you live in a remote location, you can have access to the internet in order to engage in online activities, including chatting with online friends, as well as indulge in recreational activities. For example, when I am on the bus, I notice lots of people using their phones without any exact reason. It is widely believed that citizens who do not have any physical hobbies, such as jogging or cycling, are likely to spend their quality time on their phones.
My view of this trend is negative, primarily by virtue of emotional disorders. Excessive exposure to the phone may lead to a lot of consequences, including deteriorating eyesight and a change in the standard of behavior. As for deteriorating eyesight, watching videos either on YouTube or on Instagram for longer periods of time will result in even losing your eyesight. Additionally, it is commonly believed that using your phone all the time has a negative impact on your emotional health. As an example, there can always be comparisons since there are people who might be more attractive or well-off than you. As a result, you will be disappointed in your life, and this is completely terrible.
To conclude, spending an immense amount of time on a phone can lead to dissatisfaction and disappointment, which can affect your work life and personal life. Considering the fact that people are on a smartphone, they are unlikely to achieve success in their lives.
