Band 5: Many people nowadays tend to marry and have children in their thirties rather than at a younger age. Is this a positive or negative development? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

In today’s world a growing number of citizens prefer to get married and led a family life in their thirties over than a young age. I believe that it has a positive impact in the society.

Looking at the reasons behind the development, it aids the people to have financial stability in their younger age. By their thirties, they become more successful in their career which eventually leads the individual to led a wealthy life. It assist them to contribute towards a better financial position and act as a supporting pillar to the family. For instance, a person who got married early should not receive enough time over an unmarried person in growing a successful career.

Additionally, an unmarried citizen could get enough time to foster their personal goals rather than others who got married at an early age. They can enjoy their single life without much tension and anxiety. Moreover, it allows them to purse their personal goals and education, leading to a more growth oriented life, before settling down. For example, after getting into a family life everyone should sacrifice some of their dreams to fulfill fill the needs of their family.

To conclude, today a large number of people opt to get into a family life in their thirties rather than at a young age due to financial stability and personal growth. Therefore, in my perspective, it is a positive development in today’s world.
