Majority of people usually make a choice to live in metropolises instead of rural areas. While it has many benefits, there are also some disadvantages too.
One of the main advantages of living in urban cities is that it provides better job opportunities. It is not a secret that modern cities attract people to live there by offering better job prospects. Because of the fact that in megapolises, there are many job variations. Everybody can instantly apply for a job without any long term research. As a result, everyone can make a career growth in their dream job, especially having better working facilities. Despite the fact that urban areas are too populated and have a low percentage of unemployment, they offer well–paid jobs where workers can have A regular income. Finally, people might feel free and have a positive mood, which may make them want to continue living in cities. Therefore, feeling of freedom in terms of finances usually leads to having a positive mood and outlook, which can make people want to continue living and stay in urban areas.
Despite the fact that living in urban cities provides better career prospects, there are also some negative sides of it. One thing is the high cost of accommodations. High rents require a high income from citizens especially in populated cities with high demand for residences. Many people might turn to taking a loan as that person may not have a job yet. Usually it makes a person live under pressure with big responsibility. As a result, thoughts of how to pay a loan back might torment a person’s conscience, which leads to depression and stress. It might damage the nervous system and finally cause poor overall health. Therefore, even though it has benefits, there is also one significant drawback.
I THINK, ALTHOUGH big cities have some disadvantages, THE advantages of it outweigh its disadvantages. While in rural areas the price of living is much lower compared to the big cities, they lack essential services like hospitals, schools, and job opportunities. Therefore, despite the high cost of living, the advantages of city life outweigh the disadvantages.
