Many citizens who live in smaller cities might often face some challenges, which can increase the willingness of living in bigger cities. These individual who would rather live in bigger cities must estimate between its pros and cons. Personally speaking, I highly believe that the advantage of this choice would outweigh its disadvantages. Here is my view about it.
When it comes to big cities, disregarding crowdedness as its disadvantages seems to be impossible. Almost every big cities has high a population rate, which might be the main cause of majority of problem. For instance the more an area become crowd, the more rate of crime would increase .The safety of a city likely depended to ability of police to supervise the people who commute in the city every day which might become harder in urban centers. It can be considered as the second effect of larger cities crowdedness.
On the other hand, as a large city can meet the immigrants’ expectations, lots of them would rather live in crowded cities. By growing immigrant rates, the area will accommodate new customs and traditions in itself which called cultural diversity. Major cities, which contain different culture, might deal with the challenges more effectively. That’s because of the different perspectives, problem solving skills or unique ideas and experiences that occur due to cultural diversity.
Furthermore, the large number of residents in metropolitan cities leads to high demand for services. This requirement would raise the development of business and follow it job opportunity in any fields, weather special or general.
So in conclusion, It seems to me that the advantages of bigger cities which outweigh its disadvantages can attract many people.
