Even though it is believed that virtual classes bring as many benefits as offline ones, others argue that on-site classes provide learners with better study environment. While it is understandable why some people support the former view, I believe that the latter is more reasonable.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why people think that studying online is more advantageous. Firstly, most of online courses are more affordable because of the ability of reducing teaching equipment and land rent, that makes it more accessible for everyone who has a limited budget but still desires to enrich their knowledge. Besides, virtual classrooms do not require learners traveling to class, so it allows them to save time and money spent on commuting to classrooms. Secondly, online training often offers flexible schedules which allows learners to choose study time that is the most convenient for them to attend. Therefore, with these visible merits, there has been an increasing number of online courses in varied fields that expands opportunities to access higher education for everyone.
On the other hand, I am of the opinion that traditional classes still remain their vital role in some aspects that will benefit learners. The main reason is that an offline class often creates a better learning environment where students can effectively interact and communicate with their peers, also their teachers. For instance, some types of physical subjects, such as sports, require students to attend class and collaborate with others to practice, thus enhancing their well-being and leading a more active lifestyle. Furthermore, learning at school can foster well-rounded development for students in both physical and mental health. It is because schools often holds a diverse range of extracurricular activities that may support students improving their social skills, such as team work and communication, which are the most essential skills nowadays.
In conclusion, some people believe that online training is as good as direct teaching, but I would argue that traditional teaching still holds its significant importance that can not be replaced.
