There is a common belief that the majority of individuals advocate for museums and galleries to exclusively exhibit artwork from local artists excluding foreign pieces. However, this essay takes a contrary stance on this issue, asserting that such a practice could foster illiteracy and lack of multicultural sensitivity among the local populace frequenting these establishments.
Firstly, displaying the creativity of native inventor clearly represents the thinking of people. This is to say that, the people only wanted to educate the children by showing them limited creation of work instead of high quality and variety of art. For example, in a survey conducted in 2004, by the professor of Harvard University about half of the students were not able to distinguish between various forms of fine art as their knowledge was limited because of lack of options to see in art galleries and museums. Hence, the above example vividly illustrates why it is important to exhibit different kinds of artistry in the archives.
Furthermore, demonstrating several types of collection in a gallery will boost the economy of the nation as it will attract many tourists from various parts of world, forcing them to come and visit the museum to see the beautiful creations done by artists around the globe. For instance, international museum in England, displaying a wide variety of famous dolls from all countries, every year nearly thirty percent of people across the globe visit the museum to enjoy and look at the astonishing beauty of the amazing art work. Thus, the afore mentioned reasons substantiate why displaying a variety of art work can help in the growth of economy of the nation.
In conclusion, I strongly oppose the idea of putting limited and arts of local artists as it does not benefit the children as well the economy of nation, because it provides less amount of knowledge to the children about various forms of arts and it will also decrease the number of visitors because of lack of availability of different forms of artistic work.
