Balancing between work and other parts of life is hard to maintain for a lot of people. This essay will first suggest hat one of the possible consequences of this problem is high level of stress and then provide relaxing from time to time as the most viable solution.
Nowadays, individuals spend most of their days at work and have a little time for hobbies, family and personal activities; therefore, people try to combine work and personal life. However, combining may cause extra pressure and influence both career and private life negatively, because work-life balance requires good time management, reasonable working hours and regular breaks which is nearly impossible today. That’s why people mostly fail to balance and face stress due to lack of relaxation. As a result, sleep quality can decline, a person may become more irritable and health problems may arise. For example, in South Korea, many people struggle to find a balance between a career and private life which leads to high levels of stress among working population.
Meanwhile, taking regular breaks can relieve accumulated stress, and improve physical and mental health. Generally, stress is the most destructive when it accumulates without relieving it, so a few weeks for refreshing is especially essential today. At day-off, people make time for their hobbies, and spend time with their families, this simple actions significantly reduce stress. For instance, employees who rest regularly cope with stress better than workers with less rests. As a result, relaxing helps to organize work-life balance and deal with stress.
In conclusion, although people struggle because of work pressure and lack of time for personal life, it may be solved by regular breaks. If this problem will not be solved, it may cause deep emotional exhaustion and support from phycologists.
