Band 5: Many people use now use online learning platform instead of attending traditional classes. Why do you think this trend is increasing ? Do you think online learning can fully replace traditional education ? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

The trend of online education has been increase since 2019 due to covid-19 and lockdown but, However, while it’s become too popular owing to flexibility and cost effectiveness. Todays, I do not believe that online education can take a place of traditional learning.

There are many reasons why a students wants to do online learning instead of traditional learning. Firstly it is cost effective. Nowadays the cost of education is significantly increase because of this factor poor and middle-class people can not afford good quality of education so, online education provide them that type of course in low cost because if the student do that course online so that

the extra cost like accommodation, travelling, physical books is reduce. Furthermore online learning platform provides flexibility, by reason of this many students and working profession choose online learning because working profession do the job so they can learn that program their own time preference and students also learn many program at one time.

However, even with this factors, I believe that the trend of online learning will diminish. consistency is most important thing in students life. In online courses student can not study with consistently, many times they get distracted can not complete that course in given time also, they leave that course. Moreover the credibility of online learning courses is much less than traditional learning courses. Many firms and institutions who may not give the good value to online courses as compare to traditional courses they are more authentic and valuable.

To conclude, many people learning online courses because they are cheaper than traditional courses. However the authenticity and consistency is more important. I believe that this trend will diminish soon.
