Recently, competitive games have become popular among young people. Some people argue that competitive games are the main factor that causes emotional stress for many young people and should be abolished. I totally disagree with the point of view for a number of reasons, and I am going to explain them in this essay.
First of all, one of the many reasons I do not think they should be banned is because there are so many beneficial outcomes that come with healthy competition, especially with building morale and confidence.Playing on a team teaches children teamwork, which can greatly impact their participation and success in the classroom as well as their education later on in life at the workplace. In races, for example, kids collaborate with one another for the collective win, and this increases their capacity to work together. Additionally, it helps them to develop social skills. Consequently, I believe that some healthy competition is crucial for forming important life traits.
When a mistake is made in competition, participants have the ability to learn from that failure and then move on to the next play or decision. In this case, coaches should act wisely and urge them not to get up, and making mistakes is common and plays an important role in achieving success when they try not to repeat the same mistake again.
In conclusion, I strongly disagree with canceling the rival games. That’s not only because of the confidence and teamwork we can gain from them, but also because they are really helpful lessons for our future success.
