Modern forms of communication have reduced the amount of time when people hang out with friends. This has had affected on their social lives. I totally agree with this statement.
From other hand, with new forms of communication everyone can meet someone online. Moreover, you can chat not only with friends but with relatives, e-pals, and with them’s who far away from you. Both you and your closers can text or call at anytime. On vacation, for example, you can keep in touch with relatives or even work.
Although, dialogues offline is more important then online. Since talking in real life have benefits kind of non-verbal and verbal emotions, feelings, deeper connection, and shared experiences. I think, that it easier make a friend or girlfriend/boyfriend on real time talking than online, based on the above facts.
Furthermore, with alternative type of interactions coming some drawbacks like problems with health. When you chat, it means you may check all replies, all messages, all news attached with vibration. As a result, you would increase amount of time when you see phone’s screen, feel anoying vibration everytime you get notification, and worry about missed notifications. Therefore, you will stir up health issues like nervous tic, deteriorating eyeside, and constant worry.
All things considered, modern communication methods have limited the time people spend socialising with their friends, which has had a negative impact on their social lives. I believe the drawbacks outweigh the benefits, so I fully support this point of view.
