In this contemporary society, there still remains a controversial topic about which is more better between onlline and offline teaching. Some people say that teaching online encourage students to think critically and indenpendently but others say that use distance- learning programmes to study at home cannot bring the same benefits of attending college or university. From my point of view, I completely agree with that view because teaching offline make student obtain knowledge and skills.
First of all, intellectual, theoretical knowledge is often difficult to absorb but need examples to describe them more physically. Surely, the math formulas are written if we do not learn from the way to practice loose belonging but in the way of learning by rote, it will not be effective. It is true for my younger brother’s case, he has been applying rote learning to his way of studying for a long time and now he is having to double his efforts to regain old knowledge.
Moreover, psychological, student must self-cultivation in order to promote more comprehensive thinking ability. Obviously, the ability to explore is strongly developed when self interest and self discovery of truth and that will motivate the intelligence of the student. It is true that from my cousin’s case, because of his curiosity and discovery, he has motivated himself to practice from there to help him grow up, money to win many scholarships of the school to help the economy of the family.
In conclusion, although online learning progress is becoming inevitable, traditional classes should be put on the top priority due to numerous benefits as mentioned above.
