Though, living in big cities open up to numerous advantages, it also comes with great sacrafises. Although living in urban cities can prove costly to some underpriviliged people, they still move to those big cities for their careers. Therefore the essay will address about the difficulites people face during the journey of moving to big cities.
Firstly, living in a big city can cost a great amount of money. Starting from renting the house to being able to afford 3 meals a day, people have to work multiple jobs to even afford basic needs of live. Despite many hardships, some people still choose to live in a big city rather than living in a town. Being accessible to many fancy and luxurious facitities may be one of the reasons for why people choose to live in a big city.
Secondly, as big cities are often crowded and polluted, some people may feel lonely and exhausted. Since people have to rush between jobs, they don’t usually have time to talk to each other or to their neighbors. The decreased in daily conversation may ultimately lead to depression and many mental disorders for the people who just come from rural areas.Therefore, homesickness can also be counted as a major problem which many people face while living in big cities.
Thirdly, although living in big cities bring about many inconviniences, many people still prefer to live there to living in a small town. As big cities provide with greater education system, advanced technology along with modern facilities, people tend to ignore the negative sides of it. Finally, living in a big city may be the best choice for some handful of people but the obvious difficulities cannot be ignored for the majority of rural folks. As big city can provide with both advantages and disadvantages, people should be more considerate while taking decision for the betterment of their lives.
