In many countries, urbanized areas are developing more and more and citizens are relocating from rural areas. Living in the urban areas offers great conveniences and improves individuals way of life, but it often comes with some drawbacks.
One major benefit of moving to the city centers is that it would enable a greater lifestyle, as technology in those places is always up to date. As a result, people’s knowledge expands significantly because they have easy access to information. This makes daily tasks more convenient and provides butter services, such as healthcare and transportation. In addition, there are more opportunities for career choices in urban centres with higher payment and salaries. Moreover most of the entertainment was located in populated cities. Including theatres, museums, zoos, shopping centres, and different kinds of sports all together in certain areas.
On the other hand, there are obvious downsides to relocating to city sides. Firstly, an increasing number of people are moving there, which could create overcrowding and traffic congestion. This could lead to stressful and overwhelming environments. Secondly, due to the growing infrastructures and citizens, it could result in pollution, for instance land, noise, industrial, and water pollution. Lastly, fast food restaurants are becoming widely spread in urban areas, a lot of people might consume a large amount of unhealthy food without even noticing.
In conclusion, while there are plus points to living in urban areas, they also have several disadvantages to the environment. The authority and each individual should protect and maintain their natural environment to ensure cities for future generations.
