To begin with, one of the major benefits of megapolises is that children has access to a better education. Because, in many cases, innovative schools and universities are built in urban areas due to a large number of citizens. Consequently, students who live in small countrysides often can not receive decent education. As a result many individuals have to move to large cities. Another prime reason is the amount of available services, such as gyms, different classes, and malls. These convenient conditions attract much more people to cities. For instance, I live in a tiny countryside, where are not any comfortable conditions around, and I would like to move to a city. Therefore, urban areas offer a much more comfortable setting than rural areas could.
On the other hand, living in cities might require a lot of finances, which could be too financial difficult for some individuals. People who earn little money ought not to live in urban refions because of the high cost of living. For example, the same groceries in markets in rural areas can cost more money in cities. As a result, a primary disadvantage of megacities is the high costs. Another prime drawback is pollution in large cities, which can harmfully affect citizens’ health. The carbon emissions are produced by a huge quantity of vehicles and fabrics. For instance, the closest city for me is Almaty, that is the most polluted city in the world.
To sum up, I take the view that the benefits of living in urban areas easily outweigh its drawbacks. Cities provide better education and more services, whereas rural areas are better for well-being.
