People across the world would rather have prepared meals from restaurants and convenience stores than having to cook at home. There are both pros and cons of this and I will discuss both by giving examples.
On the one hand, some advantages of eating ready to eat food packets are that it saves a lot of time for those individuals who does travelling a lot either for work, school or fun. For instance, students at a young age who migrate to a different country prefer to eat takeouts from cafe’s as it more convenient for them than cooking by themselves. Moreover, anyone who eats fast food does not have to worry about doing groceries, prepping and cleaning as these items are usually packed in a container which can be disposed in any nearby garbage bins. For example, people going for camping often take ready to eat products which benefits them from saving on groceries and also takes up less time for cleaning.
On the other hand, there are various drawbacks of processed meals. One of them being health problems caused by certain preservatives, resulting in gassy stomach issues, obesity and diebetes, while, cooking at home gives you control over your diet, by making healthy lunch or dinner. Additionally, it is way cheaper to get basic home ingredients than buying food that are expensive and less in portion. An example being, grocery stores that gives multiple deals on items, encouraging people to buy and make feasts by themselves rather than purchasing from cafeterias which can only be eaten by one person.
To conclude, instant food items have helped pople by saving their time from preparations, grocery shoppings but have also resulted in health realted issues due to preservatives added in ready to go packets.
