The fact that a multitude of students decide to study abroad in order to extend their education has become a hot topic of debate. Although this trend is quite advantageous in some cases, there are many noticeable drawbacks that are worth being taken into consideration in this essay.

On the one hand, students who choose to study abroad may have several advantages. Firstly, not only do they expand educational chances, but also bring career opportunities before and after graduation. One possible explanation is that pupils have access to advanced education, hi-tech facilities and hi-quantity training programs, which can broaden their horizons and skills. This can result in the fact that they can achieve international qualifications which help to increase competitive benefits in the global labour market. Secondly, looking purely from a society, students have a chance to develop personality and experience culture. This means that living in other countries assists them to become more independent and adapt to multicultural communities. As a result, they can enhance both of mindset and creativity in the educational environment.

On the other hand, a large number of students choosing to study in other countries may be disadvantageous in many ways. To begin with, high costs and financial pressures are one of the most problems that they have to face when studying. This is due to the fact that tuition and living expenses in many developed countries are very expensive, which can lead to a heavy burden of parents after graduation. Another explanation for this is that students can be shocked by culture and may feel loneliness. From the viewpoint of psychology, many students have difficulty adjusting to a new environment and lifestyle, which leads to mental stress.

In conclusion, while many students choose to study abroad in order to achieve higher education offers advantages such as international qualifications, educational and career opportunities, it also presents notable drawbacks, including the high costs, financial pressures, and mental issues.
