There has always been a debatable issue in our society pertaining to a lot of universities are changing face-to-face teaching with online courses. Some consider that there are some benefits behind this tendency. Others are skeptical about it and contemplate that it has more cons than pros. Firstly, there are some inevitable drawbacks that should be advocated and the most detrimental aspect of a myriad of educational institutions are substituting real lessons for online is that teachers have less control over students. many learners sometimes do not participate in lessons or some of them can also cheat in virtual exams. Moreover, it is also deemed that that virtual classes are diminishing the quality of getting knowledge. It is a huge conundrum nowadays. For instance, many subjects require a practice, such as medicine. Implications of learning without practicing can lead to negative development.
While there are unambiguous disadvantages like the one mentioned above, benefits are also a great deal and firstly it can be stated that lessons are becoming available. It provides access for students to take part in lessons from different cities, even countriesm, in orter to it is a beneficial development. Beside it can be also acknowledged that it saves university’s and students’ money . To facilitate students educational institutions allocate their budget to enhance rooms, environment and other standards. Online educational system is also cost-effective for learners, because they do not spend money to accommodation, foods, and transport. For example, in this decade it has become a trend, but years ago many students were suffering because of cost student years. Furthermore, the same can be said about universities.
In conclusion, there are some obvious disadvantageous points universities are substituting face-to-face teaching for internet-based education, however, as every coin has two sides, there are more than a few benefits of this, such as affordable courses and financial savings. These completely outweigh its demerits.
