Many people believe that university diploma plays necessary role for getting better jobs. For me diploma is not the most important reason to have a good job. In my opinion, while diploma is important for finding a job, abilities are more important for employer to be successful in a career. Another reason for me, diploma sometimes can limit our opportunities
Nowadays everyone tries to earn university degree. The reason for this sometimes come from family, or parents, because they want their children to be successful in education, to study in top universities and start good career. But we sometimes see the people who have no diploma are more successful with their career. For example, Jack Ma, and other well-known billionaires are not educated or their diplomas are not related with their job.
Secondly, another reason for me is that, diploma sometimes limits our opportunities. As, anyone who earns university degree, in the end of the study they want to be hired in the sector which is related with their diploma. Because, when anyone has diploma or degree from any university or field, they don’t want to take a risk or to start any business. That’s why they tend to work for anyone but not for themselves. However, sometimes we see people who start with a sector where he does not have any diploma.
In conclusion, from my perspective abilities such as emotional intelligence, networking, leadership are more necessary than to have a diploma from any university.
