Numerous opinions exist regarding the impact of diverse ethnic peoples on societies. It is considered to have more merits than downsides. From my perspectives, I totally concur with this statement for several reasons.
To begin with, the diversity of ethnic peoples helps contribute to the bicultural of a country. Because a group has its own traditions and distinctive features, so if there are many groups, there will be more activities and unique things to try. Therefore, leading to the unity between peoples in countries. As an example, Vietnam has 54 minority groups which have myriads of cultural activities to experience. Thai’s peoples have traditions to ride boats or shoot crossbows in special events, while Khmer’s people use their compelling dance called ” Lam Thon” dance in order to retain cultural heritages and also integrate peoples.
Furthermore, the variety of minority groups may aid entice tourists to visit and make a lot of money, making tribute to the country’s budget and reputation. Tourists tend to be exposed to something novel and interesting, thereby, the appealing and extraordinary traditions may meet those needs. For instance, Tay’s people who are chiefly located in Quang Ninh province- Vietnam have welcomed various tourists in recent years by their captivating and inspiring events with myriads of games, souvenirs and foods.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the assortment of mixed ethnic groups in societies brings more advantages than disadvantages. It can foster harmonious friendship among peoples and make profit from tourism. Hence, ethnic groups are essential sectors in most countries.
