Travelling and tourism is one of the biggest industries nowadays and it will grow in future. Well, I disagree on the point that in the future, people will choose to go on holidays in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday.
Firstly, travelling abroad is becoming more convenient than ever before which is one of the biggest factors that attract people to travel outside their country. For example, ten years ago there was no direct flight from India to Canada and people have to travel through connecting flights which annoys a lot of passengers as they have to wait so many hours on the airports for the next up coming connect flight. On the other hand, currently we have two direct flights from India to Canada which only take fifteen to sixteen hours to reach an of these countries without any wasting time.
The other factor that play’s a major role in travelling abroad is visas. Thanks to technology and internet applying visa for any country has become so feasible unlike in the past when we all have to wait outside in a que to collect the forms to apply visa and then stand whole day in other line for submitting that paperwork. For example, I visited Dubai this year, but I was not having the visa for the country. All I need to do is open the website of Dubai immigration and upload the scanned copy of all my documents, passport, and bank proofs and click submit.
To conclude, I disagree that people will travel less to abroad in future because technology is growing drastically which is providing a much more comfort and feasibility to travelers. Airplanes are providing more and more facilities, connectivity, and an amazing journey experience. On the other hand, applying for a visa is also not a much hassle now all credit goes to smart computers and web.
