There are significant numbers of teenagers pose anti-social attitudes and disrespect to some individuals. I believe that this problem happens because of globalization; moreover, there should be a solution to overcome it.
To begin with, globalization has impacted to the use of technology accessible to everyone. Most students nowadays are having handphones which they utilize them for accessing internet to find learning source and to study. This shows that students are given chances by the teachers to study independently. Moreover, the device which previously created for communication is now upgraded to entertain the users by providing application such as Spotify and Netflix. Therefore, to be happy is not only by going some particular places and socializing with other, but also listening music and watching movie from phone.
Furthermore, globalization has maximized the use of social medias. Teenagers are able to socialize with peers through social media without visiting them. As a result, the value of being social creatures is disappearing. For example, in my case, I find it awkward to communicate with people directly than by chatting. In addition, the social media has given a freedom of speech, where people negatively use to spread hate comments, resulting in not tolerating people in real life.
In conclusion, globalization has impacted the attitude of young people. There should be a curriculum for the young learners that involves character building and empowering the youth by campaigning through social media.
