Today, some people attract others by glamorous appearance and exuberant property and ignore real achievement. This can have a negative impact on younger generations. From my personal perspective, I partly disagree with this opinion because I also believe that success is the result of a long, trying process.
I agree that some top stars gain fame by having a perfect appearance and rich assets. Jane Coding is an excellent example of this. He is always considered a rich boy with a lavish lifestyle. He appears in front of the public with expensive clothing and a luxurious car. People are even overwhelmed by the extravagant parties held at his house. This is simply because he comes from a royal family with a long history in business. However, we cannot see any specific talent in his field. When teenagers look at him, they are inclined to follow the toxic trend. For instance, they believe that only by becoming richer, owning many cars and houses, will they make others admire them. Consequently, despite everything, including illegal actions and crimes, they also engage in such behavior. This significantly impacts the morale of the younger generation.
While I have different opinions about some stars’ perfection in terms of both appearance and property, in reality, many idols achieve their successful lives through hard work and determination. Harry Lu, an artist, gained love from the public through his resilience in the face of a harsh society. When he was at the peak of his career, he experienced a serious accident that injured his face. Fortunately, he recovered and returned to showbiz. Despite facing criticism from his fans for not maintaining his previous appearance, he chose to focus on his acting abilities. As a result, he won over the public with his talent. Additionally, he ventured into a business career. All his wealth was earned through his efforts and unwavering spirit of never giving up. Whenever people see his wealth, they are reminded of his challenging journey, inspiring others about the process of earning money and maintaining a perfect image.
In conclusion, in reality, some people prefer to decorate their fame largely based on their wealth and extravagance, sending a misleading message that wealth is the primary indicator of one’s worth. However, I would argue that there are many individuals who use their achievements to motivate others to make significant contributions in their chosen fields and serve as outstanding role models to those around them.
